Click the waveform to seek or add a bookmark at the current time. Keep useful review points close at hand during the session, especially when checking a transcript against its source.

DSS stands for Digital Speech Standard. It is a compressed audio format built for spoken dictation, rather than music. The .dss file extension identifies classic DSS recordings; .ds2 is associated with DSS Pro, which adds recording modes and protection options. Neither is simply an MP3 with a different name. Playback needs a decoder that understands the file's actual recording mode.

Set A at the start of the phrase and B at the end, then turn on A-B Loop. Use Bookmark to mark the current time. Treat loop points and bookmarks as session-only review notes, and copy important timestamps to your own records before closing the tab.
